Research and Practice on the Design of the External Lightning Protection of

the Stadium Construction

Abstract It is pointed out that on the premise of meeting the codes，the stadium construction should use its metal roof and steel structure as direct lightning flash air-termination system. However，this approach fails to effectively protect the spectators and athletes on the sports field，a few cases of the lightning stroke indicate that the lightning protection is necessary for the sports field. Taking Quanzhou Sports Center Stadium in Fujian Province as an example，since the traditional lightning rod （wire）can not achieve all-directional protection，early streamer emission lightning rod as a accessorial protective measure has been set up by the author.

摘 要 指出体育场馆建筑在满足规范的前提下，应利用其金属屋面和钢结构作为直击雷接闪器。但这种做法不能有效保护场地上的观众及运动员，几例雷击球场案例说明场地保护是必需的。以福建省泉州体育中心体育场为例，由于传统的避雷针（线）不能实现全方位保护，作者增设了提前主动放电避雷针作为辅助保护措施。
