Case Analysis of Harmonic Amplification Caused by Capacitors

Abstract The reactive power compensation capacitor bank of the power transformer in a hospital office building is damaged due to overheating，because the capacitor bank without serial reactor is used，resulting in harmonic of electricity load harmonic source amplification. After the tunable capacitor bank is used in the re-design，the resonance phenomenon disappeared.

摘　要　分析了某医院办公大楼供电变压器的无功补偿电容器组损坏的原因：使用无串接电抗器的电容器组，放大了用电负荷谐波源产生的谐波，致使电容器过热而损坏。重新设计采用了调谐式电容器组后，谐振现象消失。
