Discussion on Load Factor and Energy-saving of Distribution Transformers

    Abstract From the point of view of annual electrical energy consumption, an optimum load factor of distribution transformers is proposed in this paper. The relationship between transformer efficiency and the optimum load factor is obtained and conclusions such as the impact of annual consumption number of hours of the maximum load on the optimum load factor of transformers are obtained by calculation and comparison. In addition，the load factor, capacity selection and energy-saving of distribution transformers are also discussed in this paper.

    摘　要　从年电能损耗角度论述配电变压器最佳负荷率，通过计算比较得出变压器效率与最佳负荷率的关系，最大负荷年损耗小时数对变压器最佳负荷率的影响等结论，对配电变压器负荷率、容量选择与节能问题进行了研究探讨。
