    Abstract This paper introduces the present development status of F T TH（Fiber to the Home） scheme based on EPON（Ethernet Passive Optical Network） technology，its system structure and working principle；describes the settings of F T TH optical line terminal（OLT），optical distribution network（ODN） and optical network unit（ONU） as well as ODN networking design principles and equipment selection principles in engineering；and gives a specific system block diagrams for several common types of construction modes of villas，multi-storey residences and high-rise residences.

    摘　要　介绍基于 EPON（以太网无源光网络）技术的 F T TH（光纤到户）方案的发展现状、系统架构及工作原理；阐述 F T TH 的光线路终端（OLT）、光分配网（ODN）、光网络单元（ONU）设置， ODN 组网设计原则和工程中设备的选取原则；针对别墅、多层住宅、高层住宅等几种常见的工程建设模式给出具体的系统框图。
