Analysis on Cable Characteristics and Its Overload Protection

    Abstract Based on the operating temperature - service life characteristics and current - temperature （thermal） characteristics of cables，this paper quantitatively analyzes the changes in temperature and service life of cables under the condition of overload current，and puts forward some views on overload protection and regular maintenance for cables.

    摘　要　从电缆的工作温度 - 使用寿命特性、电流 - 温度（热）特性出发，定量分析电缆在过负荷电流下的导体温度及寿命变化，提出对电缆过负荷保护及定期维护的一些看法。
