Protection against Lightning Design of Wanlin Art Museum of Wuhan University

Abstract:The paper introduces the design of protection against lightning in view of museum buildings with complex shape,diverse building materials and special location and in combination of actual project cases of Wanlin Art Museum of Wuhan University. Because the roof of the building is of irregular shape and accessible,the architects have higher requirements for the architectural shape and propose to use metal plates around the roof as the air-termination system for protection against lightning.

摘 要:针对博物馆类建筑外形复杂、建筑材质多样、选址特殊等特点,结合武汉大学万林艺术博物馆实际工程案例,介绍其防雷设计做法。鉴于该工程建筑物屋面形状不规则且需上人,建筑师对建筑外型要求较高,提出用屋面四周金属板作接闪器的防雷保护方案。
