Reliability of SPD Backup Protection and Experimental Verification

Abstract：This paper presents the basic requirements for selection of surge protection device （SPD）for the backup protection of low-voltage（LV）power distribution system and the functions of backup protection components；the characteristics of protective circuit breaker devices，such as fuse and circuit breaker，are discussed and the compatibility tests are conducted by classification for verification of SPD backup protection.

    摘 要：综述低压配电系统选用电涌保护器（SPD）的后备保护的基本要求、后备保护元件的作用；介绍保护断路装置熔断器和断路器的特性以及分类配合试验验证。
