    AbstractSurge protection devices are generally used at an altitude of not more than 2 000 m,and manufacturers should be consulted when the height exceeds 2 000 m. Are conventional surge protection devices suitable for high altitude areas? and how to select the type?This is the concern of users in high altitude areas. In this paper,the influence of atmospheric conditions on air gap breakdown voltage in high altitude areas,and the factors that should be considered in the application of surge protection devices to meet the needs of high altitude are introduced.

  摘 要:电涌保护器一般用于不超过2 000 m海拔高度,超过2 000 m应与制造厂协商。而常规的电涌保护器是否适用于高海拔地区?如何选型?这是高原地区用户所关心的问题。介绍高海拔地区大气状态对空气间隙击穿电压的影响,以及为适应高海拔的需要,电涌保护器应用需考虑的因素。
