Abstract：This paper introduces the classification of surge protection device,compares the working principles,characteristics and existing problems of voltage switching SPD,voltage limiting SPD and combined SPD,expounds the classification and selection of backup protection of surge protection device,gives the recommendation of the selecting voltage limiting SPD with integrated backup protection suitable for the particularity of petrochemical industry,and analyzes the integrated improvement and intelligent improvement of power SPD.

摘　要：介绍电涌保护器的分类，对比电压开关型SPD、限压型SPD、组合型SPD的工作原理、特性与存在的问题；阐述电涌保护器后备保护的分类和选择；针对石化行业的特殊性，推荐选用后备保护一体化的限压型SPD；分析电源SPD的一体化改进和智能化改进。
