Based on Lightning Monitoring and Positioning System

Abstract:ADTD lightning monitoring and positioning system is employed to calculate the annual average density Ng of lightning strokes on the ground in Guizhou. Compared with the traditional method used to estimate Ng with thunderstorm days Td,the measured Ng can reflect the probability and intensity of lightning attraction on the project site more accurately,and better meet the refined requirements for social modernization development. With 10 typical buildings in Guiyang as examples,the measured Ng is compared with estimated Ng to calculate the estimated number N of expected annual lightning flash for structures. The result shows that,if Ng is used for calculation,the value of N declines with varying degrees. Therefore,
the classification of lightning protection for buildings may need re‑evaluation. More accurate N is good for guiding safer,more economical and more reasonable lightning protection and fortification for construction projects,and can also provide certain guidance for site selection at the earlier stage.

摘 要:通过ADTD闪电监测定位系统,计算得到贵州省雷击大地的年平均密度Ng,与传统采用雷暴日Td估算Ng的方法相比,实测Ng更能准确反映项目所在地引雷的概率及强度,更能适应社会现代化发展的精细化需求。以贵阳市10个典型的建筑物为例,对比实测Ng与估算Ng计算的建筑物年预计雷击次数N,结果表明:采用实测Ng计算,N值均有不同程度的下降,可能需要重新评估建筑物防雷分类;更准确的N也有利于指导建设项目更安全、经济、合理地进行防雷设防,对项目前期的选址也有一定的指导意义。
