Discussion on Optical Cable Selection for Generic Cabling in the Computer Room of Data Center

Abstract：Based on the specifications for data center and network characteristics,the selection and design of cables for generic cabling in the computer room of data center are discussed,including the requirements for optical attenuation limit and the relationship between optical fiber selection and optical module,etc.A cloud platform is used as an example,and the selection of cables between IT equipment and access switch and cables between aggregation switch and core switch and the determination of the number and length of cables are introduced.

摘　要：结合数据中心规范要求及网络特点，探讨数据中心主机房区综合布线光缆的选型设计方法，包括光纤光衰减限值要求、光纤选型与光模块的关系等方面内容；以某云平台为例，介绍IT设备至接入交换机、汇聚交换机至核心交换机的光缆选型、缆线数量及长度的确定。
