Abstract:Based on the lightning impulse waveform acquired from the actual environment,this paper studies the ultimate withstand capability of surge protective device(SPD)under different lightning current waveforms. The study data indicate a power function relation among the maximum discharge current of SPD,the passing charge quantity and the time to half value under different lightning current impulses. Through this function relation,the corresponding stress of the current waveform acquired from the actual environment can be converted to the testing stress at 8 / 20 μs waveform to realize the protection design of all waveform lightning currents in SPD selection and R&D testing stage.

摘 要:从实际环境中采集到的雷击波形出发,研究电涌保护器(SPD)在不同雷电流波形下的极限耐受能力,研究数据表明:SPD在不同雷电流冲击下的最大放电电流、通过电荷量与半峰值时间呈幂函数关系。通过此函数关系,可以将实际环境中采集到的电流波形对应应力转换为8 / 20 μs波形下的测试应力,实现在SPD选型和研发测试阶段对所有波形雷电流进行防护设计。
