Abstract Through the comparison and analysis of the protective earthing conductor PE of IEC and equipment grounding conductor EGC of NEC,it can be known that PE and EGC have the same functions,for they can both automatically disconnect the power supply by establishing a low‑impedance circuit of earth fault current. Through the analysis of the type of conductor and earth fault current flow circuit, and on the basis of test data,the reason why PE cross‑sectional area is generally larger than that of EGC is given. It is pointed out that the protective bonding conductor of IEC should not only transmit fault voltage,but also enjoy the capacity of carrying earth fault current.

摘 要:通过IEC的保护接地导体PENEC的设备接地导体EGC对比分析,可以知道PEEGC从功能上作用一致,都是通过建立接地故障电流低阻抗回路,达到自动切断电源的目的;从导体类型和接地故障流通回路分析,并通过试验数据,给出PE截面积普遍比EGC截面积要大的原因。指出IEC中的保护联结导体不仅是传递故障电压,也应满足承载接地故障电流的能力。
